KIESELSTEIN CORD

Kieselstein Cord has a very folk like style. His 18K gold jewelry is always warm, broad, and has a very humble fairy tail feeling to it. When he does use gems, he always takes big warm ones and uses them as centerpieces for his work. In his non figurative designs, his work is always big, bold, and uses very simple geometric rules.

Unlike a lot of his contemporaries, he uses a lot of figurative work in his jewelry. He will either use the lost wax method or carve not his gold and create faces, animals, crowns, and knights. One of his signature designs is a heart. He places royal-themed figurative elements on top, like knights and crowns. He also has a collection of gold animal cuff links including dogs, alligators, and frogs.

His jewelry has a very humble charm to it, and makes for a very pleasant addition to any collection - from the beginner jewelry enthusiast, to the experiences collector.
