VHERNIER

Vhernier is a master designer. His work is divided into two veins: a figurative carved vein, and a very minimalist abstract one.

He carves quartz and other semi precious gems into figurative things, like balloons, grapes, shells, scorpions, and penguins (to name a few). He sets them in 18K gold and finishes them off with diamonds. He takes a very sculptural approach to his work. His pieces seem to have an inner glow of their own, absorbing all surrounding light and giving it back in a warm, beautiful way. His figures are playful, yet sophisticated.

His abstract designs, although very bold, are highly contemporary and minimalist. It is very Bauhaus inspired, using repetitive shapes, and working elegantly with basic forms. He uses a variety of different metals, diamonds, and semiprecious gems to create sleek warm designs.

His work is filled with love, light, and internal peace. A true treasure.
