ZOLOTAS

Zolotas is a greek jewelry company which features very powerful geometric designs. Most of their collections feature straight lines and bold, graphic geometry. Interlocking rings, labyrinths encased in bangle bracelets,  and lovely cubic pendants are some of their more signature pieces.

Even their more organic and ornamental jewelry features a very strict pattern. Its austerity is very beautiful, and very bold. It makes one very distinct statement. A common misconception is that a simple design is easy to achieve. It is in fact much harder to succeed in simple patterns and designs. Zolotas jewelry is a phenomenal example of what can be done with this aesthetic.

Zolotas also takes heavily from greek mythology. A lot of their antique and vintage jewelry will feature beautiful lion, bull, ram, and goat heads. They are beautifully carved and are set in very ornately. The body of the jewelry itself will still be very bold, simple, and geometric. Their new charm collection features the famous Greek  Labyrinth.

Something else that is unique for Zolotas is how they treat their metal. They will give their gold matt finishes to showcase a diamond's luster. They also introduce pigmented alloys to create Black and Pink gold into their collections. Just try and picture beautiful .010ct peace diamonds set against a matt black gold ring? κομψό! Why, it is elegance itself!
