For Italian jewelry brand Pomellato, its all about the stones. We humans love our shiny rocks, and there are no ifs ands or buts about it! One of Pomellato's signature moves, is to "frost" a simple piece of gold jewelry with diamonds. A popular variation of this technique is taking round pieces of precious metal and studding it with precious gems of different sizes but same color. Orthodox cut stones are paired with cabochon cuts and carefully picked colors to create pleasing candy like pieces.
